For this assignment I decided to use propoganda for the solar eclipse that recently happened. The original picture was taken with regular glasses rather than sunglasses but I thought for the solar eclipse that the sun glasses was a better look because it helped to capture the idea and thought process behind it. Tracing my facial features was relatively simple except for the ears. it felt like the ears have so many different little parts that getting each one was impossible.

  I think this photo would be very difficult to photoshop myself into it due to the phone, the mirror and the finger. all of those objects would be very difficult to navigate around.  This picture is helping me to chose the one from the scene I would like.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKFZjRV7L_Q In the first video, I learned about the pen tool. Based on my attempt to use it in illustrator and after this video, I think it'll be fairly easy. It seems like a simple tool to use, but at first I believe it'll be a challenge. I know you can use the pen tool by using paths, that create to control points. When we used the color match in illustrator, I felt confident about that.
